These socks live up to their name if Gentle Grip, and they do not leave an aching mark around the lower calf. However for me they still leave a mark around the ankle at the point where ankle joins foot. Also, with nerve damage under my feet, the looser weave adds to soreness.

The 'diabetic' socks arrived promptly and are perfect for my friend. She asked me to give her more next birthday. I will be happy to do that and see her really happy with the gift.

These socks live up to their description…gentle grip socks. I find most socks I try, leave a tight mark around my ankles. This didn’t happen with these socks. The only problem was that the socks moved around on my feet so the ankle part ended up on the top. I don’t have a narrow or small foot (size 10 shoe) so this was a bit annoying. I don’t think this would happen whilst wearing shoes but I was wearing them at home with no shoes.
They were definitely comfortable. It would be great if there was some underfoot padding. I would be willing to pay extra for that.

Light but warm, these socks don’t take up too much room in my shoes. This is important if you have wide feet. They stay up and keep their shape too. Wouldn’t buy anything else now.

Thinner than I was expecting. After 1 wear they have gotten little balls around pressure points. Fit well and love the colours, but not thick enough and I don't think they'll last very long.
